It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Robert “Rob” Koch, a beloved brother, loyal friend, and a man whose kindness and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His sudden passing has brought immense grief to all who knew him, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
Rob was more than just a brother—he was a constant source of love, strength, and companionship. To those closest to him, he was everything. His presence brought comfort, his words brought encouragement, and his laughter had a way of lifting even the heaviest of hearts. He possessed a rare and beautiful gift: the ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and appreciated.
Known for his warmth and generosity, Rob lived a life rooted in compassion. He gave freely of himself, whether through a kind gesture, thoughtful advice, or simply being there when it mattered most. His sense of humor was unforgettable—bright, genuine, and capable of filling any room with joy. It is these moments of laughter and connection that will remain etched in memory forever.
Family meant everything to Rob. He cherished the time he spent with loved ones and built unbreakable bonds that will endure beyond his passing. His friendships were deep and meaningful, a reflection of the loyalty and care he showed so effortlessly. The love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
As family and friends come together to mourn this tremendous loss, they will also gather to celebrate a life that, though cut short, was filled with purpose and love. Services to honor Rob’s life will be held at Barnes-Sorrentino Funeral Home, followed by a church service at St. Barnabas Church. Final arrangements and times will be shared as they are confirmed.
During this incredibly difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Rob’s family and all who loved him. May you find comfort in the memories you shared, in the laughter he brought, and in the love that will never fade.
Robert Koch will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. May he rest in peace.
